IRVINE, Calif., July 26, 2016 – Irvine-based private equity firm Lotus Innovations has been named a Semi-Finalist in the Emerging Technology Company category of the Orange County Technology Alliance Annual High-Tech Awards.  The Outstanding Emerging Company category – part of the OC Tech Alliance’s premier award event celebrating the best in Orange County’s technology companies – recognizes those companies who have established a record of sustained innovation as well as delivering laudable financial performance and investor returns.

Lotus Innovations acquires small mid-market technology companies and transforms them by applying their unique growth model.

According to Christian Mack (@CMack4Lotus), Lotus Innovations Co-Founder and General Partner, “People usually don’t equate PE with Emerging Technology, and that’s why we’re excited to have been recognized by the OC Tech Alliance.”  “Deep expertise in technology and innovative approaches to business transformation, is fundamental to helping us meet the needs of our investors and portfolio companies, and sets us apart from traditional PE firms,” added Mack.

The OC Tech Alliance will announce all winners at a gala dinner on Oct. 6, 2016, at the Westin South Coast Costa Mesa.  Also at this year’s Gala, #OCTechAlliance will be celebrating STEM educators and students for their innovative use of science, math, engineering and technology in the classroom and the community in conjunction with Project Tomorrow.  @ProjectTomorrow is the nation’s leading education nonprofit group focused on preparing today’s students to be tomorrow’s innovators.
